In Montjuic all attractions are far from each other, make sure you plan enough time. Castle is nice though and worth a visit if you are not too pressed for time in Barcelona

Built on 1640, the castle transports you on another era. High up on Montjuik hill gives you incredible views of Barcelona. You can visit through funicular and teleferic. Great to come down on bike!!!

We walked (approx a mile or so) from the city up the hill to the cable car, then took a cable car (recommended though very short journey) to the castle. The castle was excellent value at 5 Euros per adult & children (my 14 year...More

Great view of the sea and learned the history of the city. It was a trek especially in 100 degree temperature but worthwhile.

Decided to book a tour that included a cable car trip. Was after lunch and while otherwise a nice time, there were no open toilets at the base station. Had to go up into the fortress to use the toilet. And almost had to pay...More

We strolled off our dinner meal walking the park after 11pm. It's full of life, music and people. We felt blessed and safe. And the night is so special.

We took the cable car up to the castle. The castle if beautiful and it has a great view of Barcelona and surrounding towns. You can also watch a video and learn alot about the history of Barcelona and the revolution in the 19th century....More

The Castle at the top of Montjuic park affords the best views of the city - from the port right across to the hills on the northern side. We took the L2 metro to Parel-lel and then fenicular railway to the midst of the parc....More

A nice place to walk around. Not very interesting for young children. No restaurants available. There is a vending machine with snacks and drinks and restrooms.

Parc de Montjuic was a very enjoyable part of my visit to Barcelona. From the trips on the Funicular and the cable car, to the amazing views from the Castle and the walk down the mountain beneath the shade of the trees.

As far as I know entry to the park is free. But entry to the castle and things like the cable car ride will cost you. No need to buy tickets online.
