Perfect!

It's a climb.....but worth every step. Beautifull view! There is no place for a coffee, so bring it with you.

off the normal tourist track but popular with locals. A great view point to see the whole of Barcelona with a 360' view. you'd need transport to get there and there are steep steps up but well worth it to be away from the norm. no cost

We found this place through recommendation of one of the locals and were so impressed by it that we visited Turo de la Rovira 3 times during our 5 day stay in Barcelona. One thing is that is easy accesable by public bus with 5 minute walk in the end, secondly it is really not very touristic and crowded and... More

If you're visiting Barcelona, it's worth to take a walk until the Búnquers, as it's called here. After your visit to Sant Pau Hospital, you can get there through the Nen de la Rutlla Square and the Guinardo Park. Once there you'll see Barcelona at your feet. A unique view of the city. Enjoy!!!!

Lovely, sweeping views of the city and thoughtful, detailed information points that outline the history of the area. A great trip out of the main city.

In the top of Horta-Guinardo district, there are the anti-aircraft batteries that were installed during the spanish civil war to defend Barcelona from Franco's air force. The view is the best in Barcelona, you'll see all the city in a 360º view, amazing!. After the civil war there were settlements of people, and now it's interesting how it has recovered... More

Pack a picnic, take your bike, your wife, your kids, your camera and make the hike up that steep, steep hill. The view is worth it. If you are not a fan of crowds, and Park Guell is packed like a lata of sardinas, this place is a great alternative for a little adventure out of the centre of Barcelona.... More

The closest subway is Alfons X and the walk to the site is about 20-25 minutes (up hill) but the walk is a steady incline. This is a great place to enjoy the sunset and hang out with friends. Lots of locals were brought food/wine. Great way to enjoy Barcelona's beauty.

Aside from playing a poignant base during the wars of the 20th century, this spot rewards the eager climber an amazing view of the city. Its proximity to Parc Guell makes it a convenient stop.

Its a great place to have an overview of the city. You´ll see its still closed down and under rennovation but you can pass the fence and just go up...its what everyone does. Get yourself a bottle of wine and your dinner and have a nice night picnic (bring some mosquito repelant), otherwise you can have dinner on the way... More
