Old fashioned small museum. Not bad experience but there are many much more interesting places to visit in Barcelona.

Great museum! Very interesting collections, some of the objects are very rare. A big thank you to the curator for the installations of the tomb, the chapel and one of the inner chambers with an offering table;this type of visualiisation helps the learning process and...More

While this is a small museum, (you can see it all in 30 minutes to an hour), the price is higher than other local museums. This makes it a poor value. For example a trip to the National Museum of Catalunya cost 8 € and...More

For a museum with such a good reputation (at least so it seems online), I was surprised by the rather small size of it. The next surprise was the amount of time I end up spending in that small museum. I don't often read a...More

Barcelona and it rained. What to do? I was close to the Egyptian Museum. The entry fee was 12 EUR but included an audio guide. Quite expensive but it rained. Better dry and warm inside than wet and cold outside. Friendly staff at the reception...More

This museum although might be a nice choice on a rainy day is just too expensive for what it is. It has three small floors and although it might not be a problem, the descriptions of the items are in English only in the first...More

If you are a fan of Egyptian history you will enjoy the museum. It is relatively small but with quality exhibits. Worth spending an hour + and get some additional insight and education about the very reach culture of the Egyptian dynasties.

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you
enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally
translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes
recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant
atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district,
Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end
international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the
glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best
