Authentic salsa & bachata

Great place to go for a dance. Went on a Friday & loved it. They play salsa & bachata tracks predominantly. Girls, if you don't know the steps, don't be shy, say yes when someone... read more

During a recent 10 day stay in Barcelona, we visited Antilla twice. Once on a Saturday and then again the following Friday. Entry cost 10 euros which entitled you to a free drink of your choice. Cloak room was 1.50€. As a salsera, I'm always looking for places to dance and Antilla is hands down the best salsa club I... More

Great place to go for a dance. Went on a Friday & loved it. They play salsa & bachata tracks predominantly. Girls, if you don't know the steps, don't be shy, say yes when someone asks you to dance & tell them you're a beginner. Most of them will teach you :-)

I visited the club after reading the reviews and thought it would be a safe , fun place for me to enjoy a dance on my own whilst holidaying in Barcelona. Unfortunately upon entering I was not explained how the "card system" worked and when I tried to exit the club I was refused exit and pushed back into the... More

This is a great Salsabar. A taxi from Bario Gothic costs around 7 euros. On weekends it costs 10 euros to get in. The fee includes one drink. On weekdays you are obliged to buy one drink. Antilla bar is a well known bar with 2 dance floors. The floors are big. The bar here serves cocktails and normal drinks.... More

AWARENESS! The adress in Google is wrong! Atilla Salsa bar is Carrer d'Arago 142! Not 141! It's further on the street. Amazing place! If you're looking for truly Spanish night out experience this is where you should go! Full of friendly people, good music and lively dance. Has two dance floors: 1st big one for salsa, 2nd up the stairs... More

had an amazing time dancing salsa here, the people are so friendly. Some of the dancers were absolutely amazing, and the music was also so great.

Tye music is good, wed is the best night. I cant remember how much was the entrance fee. Once u paid they will give u a color paper and thats your drink voucher once u ordered and paid for your drink they will change the color for you. The crowds are good not rowdy.

Glad the youngsters walked on by. They are usually too busy posing and taking selfies to appreciate the fun of dancing to latin music with any partner of any age. The music being played wasn't all to my taste but the DJ tried to mix up old-style salsa, some Cuban and bachata so there was something for everyone downstairs and... More

This place advertises for salsa dancing but most of the songs and dance partners are cuban style (circular rotation). I found a few partners who dance mambo or on 2. The floor was smooth (without grooves) but sticky in spots. Gets very crowded and people seem content bumping into each other. Nice atmosphere for a woman coming solo.

We had been recommended this club by someone we had met who was Latin. After arriving and paying 10 euros entry we found ourselves on the dance floor. The majority of people in the club were 40+ years old. If you're looking for a younger vibe then this certainly isn't the place. The music is great - classic salsa songs,... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighbourhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
