This is a really beautiful park to visit but only if it is not raining. Have enough time for a walk around the park. It has many shaded areas and playground for the kids. It has a wonderful fountain where you can sit and relax. Really beautiful place.

We rented bikes near by and road through the part and then down to the sea. It was a pleasant experience

This is an absolutely beautiful park. My favorite part of the park was by far the fountain. Out of all the parks in Barcelona, I feel this is my favorite and my only complaint is that I wasn't able to see the park in summer.

Adored this city park! The fountain is stunning with the greek gods and goddesses and then the random mammoth! The zoo liked extremely small which I was not very comfortable with so i didn't visit it, but the park itself was great fun. Loved rowing in the small lake!

This park was within 3 minutes of our hotel. So we just happened to walk through it. Beautiful park. Pond. Lots of activity from residents who live close by. Students. Kids. Seniors. Housing is so congested so residents really use these parks daily.

Unfortunately the fountain wasn't working, in action it must be spectacular, but the park is lovely as is the pond. A relief to get away from all the noisy traffic for a while. Very green and I loved the mammoth. Very accessible from anywhere in central Barcelona.

When I visited Parc de la Ciutadella it was peaceful and quiet. I didn't see any homeless, but there are homeless all around the city, of course. The large fountain is beautiful and I like strolling around the paths and stopping at the lake. The Arc de Triomf replica is what you will walk through to enter the park and... More

Amazing day out to Parc de la Ciutadella. We visited this park on our way to Barcelona zoo. It was worth every minute!

the park is in a central location with lots of lovely walks, there is a fantastic waterfall and ponds with wildlife, popular with dog walkers and some places to eat and drink, worth a visit. Next door is the zoo and at the other end the arc de triomf.

Staying in Ciutadella / Vila Olimpica

Neighbourhood Profile
Ciutadella / Vila Olimpica
The sounds of Marina Olympica's rocking boats and clicking mastheads swaying to and fro set an impressive backdrop for Ciutadella and Villa Olimpica. Follow the aromas of garlic, wine, and fresh local fish to the various restaurants running along the marina. A grand bronze fish statue soaring high above serves as a beacon to those searching for the renowned Casino Barcelona or the extremely popular nightclubs which practically lie on the beach itself.
