Astonishing!

One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Every nook and cranny tells a story. It's almost like walking into a fairytale palace. Definitely one not to be missed.

Inside nothing special, but from the top you will enjoy a great view of the city of Barcelona. Good to see after a day spent at Tibidabo

The higher constructed temple in Barcelona. From the top of the church you can see the perfect panorame of Barcelona!

This gives you amazing views of all of Barcelona. Also is attached to a small amusement park, for the kids.

To get here we used the Hop on Hop off Tourist bus and jumped off at stop 14.....then took the tram up the hill to the point where you get the final cable car the "Funicular" to the summit....the view of Barcelona is worth it as is the trip on the tram and the Funicular....had lunch at the cafeteria at... We stumbled upon this a silica by accident. It's at the top of a steep hill and there are a lot of stairs, but it is worth the climb. The architecture is stunning and there is a sense of peace and serenity. Once inside, you can forget there is a theme park around you.

This is a must when visiting Barcelona. We booked the guided audio tour before we arrived. Very good value. Fantastic architecture.

The inside of the cathedral is pretty standard fare. The real attraction is the view from the top of the cathedral. My wife and I visited and wisely decided to pay the 3 euros to ride up the elevator. Then, another two flights of stairs to get to the highest point. If you are afraid of heights, I would avoid... The Catholic Mass is one thing magic. The architecture is very beautiful. Wonderful place to go alone or with your family and friends.

The views from the top of this church are possibly the best of Barcelona, and it's relatively cheap and easy, too. You can use the funicular to get to the top of Tibidabo, or the easiest option is to get the T2A bus from Placa Catalunya which runs on days when the amusement park is open (check their online calendar...
