My wife and I visited Barcelona for a few nights and started the break with a walking tour of the Gotic area with Octavio, we hadn't explored the area before so we're keen to see hidden areas etc. Octavia was an absolute mine of useful and interesting information about the area, its history and architecture. We visited places that we... More

Guide Octavio, great walk, many new details about spaning and catalonion history! Our walk startet 10.30 and ended at 13. Little group, may better with headphones to understand more, because there was a lot of traffic in the centre of Barcelona.

I managed to spend all of February, 2017 in Barcelona. What a treat! It's a great city, with very attractive, fanciful architecture, warm relaxed outgoing people, and delicious food. I was going solo on a budget, so this could've been a disaster, but it certainly wasn't. I did something new and different each day and with the help of Sandeman's... More

We did the Gothic Quarter tour with Nuria! She was warm and smiling, trying to keep up with everyone's pace and giving extra infos and suggestions to us, when she realised we had a special interest in history and archaeology. She also managed to adjust to the bad weather conditions, choosing the best spots to stop at. I would definitely... More

Excellent tour with lovely guide who was very informative. Saw things we would never have found on our own and found out some very interesting facts. Was well worth going.

Small group of 8 or so. Very knowledgeable and friendly guide with lots of useful tips on places to visit on our own later. 2 hours passed quickly and we learnt more from our guide in that time than we did in a week with Riviera.

What a wonderful way to see the city and learn about it at the same time. We did two walking tours in Barcelona with FeelFree. Each guide was well-prepared and knowledgeable. Each pointed out things we would have passed by walking on our own, not realizing how they were special. Learned a bit about the history of Barcelona, which is... More

We were really lucky to have such a wonderful guide for our free walking tour of Modernist and Gaudi architecture in Barcelona. Octavio spoke excellent English and led us on a fascinating and informative tour of some of Barcelona's most beautiful buildings. He provided in depth info on the work of the architects and history of the buildings as well... More

We enjoyed an excellent tour of the New Town with our guide (whose name began with an N! on Friday 24th Feb). She was very friendly and knowledgeable and greeted us warmly a couple of days later when we bumped into her again. Lovely lady! Very enjoyable walk despite the rain.

Neighbourhood Profile
Barrio Gotico (Barri Gotic)
With its iconic, old-Europe streets and alleys, this picturesque neighbourhood is the very heart of Barcelona. It blends historic artifacts from its days under Roman dominion up through the Spanish Civil War with a vibrant modern-day culture of artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences. Avid explorers will be thrilled to discover quaint terraces and plazas brought to life by the many small bars and local musicians lasting late into the night. Fashionistas will be drawn to Portal de L’Angel, which is lined with well-known brand names and smaller boutique stands.
