Very French. Nothing wrong with that. He plays Edith and for sure know how much water you should have in your pastis. My friend went too drunk so beware of the strong pastis.

One of the most classic bars in Barcelona. Warning: it smells. However! It is an absolutely precious bar with live music almost every other night. If you are into speical little bars with lots of personality this is the place for you!

From the outside it looks like a place you should avoid. Inside though it is beautiful. The walls are filled with works of art and it hosts amazing music nights! The ventillation is really bad amd it smells like a sewer though...

I get the 5 star and the 1 star reviews but not the 2, 3, 4 stars. You have to fall in love with this crazy bar the moment you walk in the door or flee in disgust. I love it. The New York Times...More

First up, if you want the owner to greet you with a skip and a dance, go somewhere else. He doesn't really care if you're there or not. Having said that, the place does have a charm and I would love to go back when...More

We stumbled on Bar Pastis after experiencing a very good but very short and maybe a little touristy Flamenco show. Bar Pastis is tiny and very hot (the air con is very noisy and was only turned on when the heat got unbearable). The amount...More

This is supposed to be a traditional old-time Barcelona bar/café, but don't go here. The drinks are very expensive and the service is awful. The place is supposed to have character, but what it really is, is a dump. Just don't bother. There are so...More

El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this
gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an
excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic
spots in the entire city. A sense of humble
authenticity protrudes from the many independent
record stores, second hand shops, and student bars
that seem to light up the streets day and night. The
rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day
