Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognised architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.

There seem to be several different "Arte Flamenco" shows in Barcelona. We saw the one at the Palau de la Musica. Although pricey, it was excellent with high quality performances, and we got to see the inside of the Palau without paying the tour price. The Palau itself is stunning.

The sangria was good. We loved the place it was located. I loved that we walked around and got a discounted rated. So wait for someone to approach you you will save 10 euros. I love flamenco. It was my first time .

Very much worth the money, the band was great as were the dancers. The stage isn't the most fabulous - it is is a very intimate atmosphere and we ended up having a lot of fun!
Don't forget to check out the upstairs (top of the mall) after the show - a great panorama of Barcelona! (Don't take the glass elevator outside, it is 1 euro just for the glass elevator experience, if you take the escalators inside it is 100% free)

Acoustics were poor, perhaps due to my seating at the upper deck (2nd front row, center-ish). Was rather "noisy" and i didn't enjoy the performance as much. Mobile speakers (rather small ones for a big theater) were set up on the stage with wires around and wasn't a built-in sound system that i expected. Not sure if this is common, since building is from the olden days.
To the credit of the performers, effort and skills were displayed. There were no shortage of applause from the crowd as well. So i think it should be quite a good one. Just wasn't to my taste. So do go on youtube and catch a video before you decide, just to make sure it's something you like. And again, i think the acoustics may have made the difference.

We went to grab some dinner on the roof top level of Las Arenas and on the 4th floor elevator were stopped by a lady promoting this show. We decided to see it after dinner to catch the 8 pm show. What a disaster!! There were 6 customers including us and 3 dancers plus 4 musicians. that would ahve been a bad sign. The 2 older lady dancers tried their best, but were so so at best. the male flamenco dancer was outright lazy and came up wearing a white T shirt. At first I thought he was just a stand in awaiting others to show up in the nice outfit advertised. No. That was it. they didn't dance very long and most of the time was consumed by the old lady singer and 3 musicians playing some sort of flamenco music. The actual dancing by the 3 performers lasted about 25 minutes of the 1 hour advertised. One drink (Sangria) was included in the 35 euros per person fee and that was a major rip off. One customer asked why it was so poorly done when we left. the lady who sold the tickets said because there was never enough customers, they couldn't afford to have good costumes and performers. OMG! Blame the customers on this??!! Save your money and time and ignore this venue completely! It should go out of business!

The place is pleasant but a bit run down. The show was ok. The dancers were good but there was nothing exciting about it. The food was mediocre for vegetarians. The service was very good.

Worst show ever. Boring and unprofessional. The biggest mistake? To buy the tapas dinner ... uneatable rancid food...all this for "only" 50€.

Went with Grandma and two kids (8 and 5) on a Monday night at 8pm. It is easy to get to, in a mall, and the seating and stage allowed for fine views. There were 3 dancers and 5 musicians/singers. Because there are 3 dancers, they take breaks and one dances a song and the next song is just musicians. The dancers know their stuff! I wish it had more dancing and less just music. It isn't an authentic experience but it isn't expensive, is easy to get to and okay. For me, it was better than no flamenco and my kids behaves so-Score!

October 17th, 2019. Great classic flamenco show at beautiful venue of Palau de la Catalana, modernista style by the architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner! We were lucky to see invited guests - great flamenco dancer Toni Moñiz!! Rosa M. Dominguez! And Susana Escoda!! It was magnificent, bewitching, deeply emotionally! Masterpiece! Unforgettable evening!

Do you do tours in English? What times are tours and what is the cost? Thank you

When I went, the tickets were discounted to 20€ each, if I remember correctly. A woman in flamenco costume was at the top of the escalator at the mall where the show is handing out discount flyers. The people we dealt with for tickets & during the show spoke English.
