This lake and park was part of our bike trip. A beautiful slice of nature! Nice place to relax and have lunch!

We have friends that live in Banyoles and they invited us to come and visit the town and it's beautiful lake. Our children tried out the canoeing club at the lake and the people there were wonderful.

Beautiful natural scenery. We had a nice lunch overlooking the lake at a cafe with a good value daily menu (The Set Cafe by the tennis club - not listed by Tripadvisor for some reason).

Scenery not particularly impressive, a lake with wooded areas surrounding it, tourist office closes at 1pm so no information by the time we arrived

This natural lake is a worthwhile visit. You can walk around it in a few hours, or jog or cycle. The old part of Banyoles is also interesting. On the way from the coast to Olot and the extinct volcanoes.

We took a detour here on our way back to airport and what a beautiful place to stop , had a bite to eat and walked along the lakeshore. A handy stop off on way back to Girona airport

We stopped off here for lunch and very glad that we did. A lovely lake to stroll around. If you like cycling there is a good path which takes you around the lake. Safe area sectioned off for swimming. The water was crystal clear. Lovely...More

This is where Olympic rowing took place during the Barcelona Olympics. Don't miss the sculpture park Can Ginebreda just outside Banyoles

Whilst we were there, there were many people with dogs. There are certain areas clearly signposted where you could not take a dog but for the most post dogs were happily romping around.
