An imposing roof and entrance stairs, it is best to go see the rising pillar of the Marrecs de Salt once a year.

We visited on a cool day in December and the church is an inspiring and atmospheric site in a very atmospheric part of the city. The Cathedral is massive, second only to Saint Peters in the Vatican in scale. Hard to imagine how locals felt...More

The Cathedral from the XIII Century is absolutely well preserved. Sorounded by gardens and alleys. The entrance is magnificent and massive. Just walking around invites to reflexion.

I'm visiting as an avid Game of Thrones fans but the place itself is amazing. The stairs leading to the cathedral is good for photo ops. There's an area beside and behind the cathedral that worth a visit as well.

The stairs must be climbed. You can do it! Better in the morning before the heat.

Not to the cathedral. The train does go up to other locations so would save that walk
