My wife and I did visit this Cathedral as well during June 2015, while with friends that drove us there for the day. The town has a lot to offer in terms of sightseeing and this is one of the places you should visit it as well.

The Cathedral is a beautiful building but it didn’t impress me that much; I couldn’t feel any esoteric sensation as I already felt in many European cathedrals – it’s an empty temple materially and immaterially speaking. What the visitor should not miss in his visit is the most impressive middle age tapestry, the Gerona Tapestry or El Tapiz de la... More

All cathedrals for me are significant and magnificent. So is the Girona cathedral. It was one of our stops in Girona during our holiday in Malgrat de Mar. Walking through the historical part of the town there is no way to miss it, suddenly it shows up in front of you with its splendor. Perhaps some of you will be... More

It's nice but it's a bit expensive in my opinion, 7€ each. But if you are a church kind a person it's worth it.

If you happen to be in Costa Brava, take a bus to Girona and explore the city on foot. We started from the train station via La Rambla to this cathedral which has 100 steps to climb if you are in good energy. You can also take a de route from a slope that crosses in the middle of the... More

Not just the Cathedral, just stroll around the old town which dates back to Roman times simply fantastic. All of this in easy walking distance and with the very friendly locals on hand for advice if you get lost, it's a must. Please if you are on holiday on the Costa Brava do take a day out to discover this... More

The cathedral is really amazing and well worth a visit. The entrance fee includes an audio guide to many of the ornate and beautiful chapels and altarpieces. There are 100 steps to climb to the entrance, but if you go to the right of the steps you can walk up the sloping road and only have to climb a few... More

It was an amazing place to visit. So many things to see but it is worth a visit just to see the tapestry of creation. It is huge and beautiful and you can just stand there and look at it for ages. It is worth the price of admission alone.

The architecture , the view from the top of dozens of steps to reach the Cathedral. The surrounding cobbled streets and the feel of her sternest.
