any steps up, quite grand. In the beautiful historic district in Girona. Not only the Cathedral but the entire area deserves a visit. It seems un-touched after all these years.

The cathedral is a beautiful example of gothic architecture. We visited the cathedral on 15th August and thought it was closed off for visitors but then we realised that the entry for visitors is in fact located on the left-hand side of the main entrance!...More

Spectacular church and location. Audio information very good. Go early it gets very busy. Free certain days, check website.

I don't like to be rude about cathedrals, as after all they are predominantly places of worship, but this one is just bland. The outside looks somewhat promising, but inside it is just another church! The cloisters are pretty, but apart from that . ....More

I love cathedrals, but having queued for some time and paid a reasonable sum, I think I expected something more. The cloisters were lovely, however.

Incredible history behind the cathedral, it was a roman forum, then a gothic cahtedral, on sunday is free, anyway the cost i 5 euros, you can visit all inside. Cool!

We went in at 8:30 am - no one was there - could just here the distant chanting of a mass happening in a back chapel. Awe inspiring!

Gorgeous church, very happy to have seen it! We arrived at 16:30, and found out that they close at 17:00, but fortunately we could still look around.

You purchase tickets when you enter the cathedral and you'll also be given headsets in English for the tour - enjoy

The stairs must be climbed. You can do it! Better in the morning before the heat.

Not to the cathedral. The train does go up to other locations so would save that walk
