The bridges in Girona crossing the rivers near the coloured houses by is one of the most repeated images in Girona. We love walking around for the old city and stopping for a while in the middle of the bridge... thinking about what Eiffel would...More

It's always lovely to walk across the river on any of the several bridges of the city, but this one is actually built by Gustave Eiffel who went on to design and build the famous tower in Paris. Worth going on it just to be...More

It's a small, metal constitution bridge. Good point to take pictures of Girona from the riverside. I guess the name is inspired from Eiffel Tower in Paris but the only common thing is the metal construction nothing else.

The same architect, but different style. This bridge is absolutely not the same design as the Tour Eiffel in Paris. I climbed up to the Eiffel tower umpteenth times and hubby even grew up living in a building facing the tower. There is nothing similar...More

Nothing impressive, but if you're nearby, you can take a few photos of the bridge and the river views.

Looks like your 1950's Erector Set construction. It's interesting to see, and you will from walking along the river, but don't make a trip to look at it.

The bridge itself didn't seem anything out of the ordinary but I've since learned that it was constructed by Gustave Eiffel, the very same guy famous for the Eiffel Tower in Paris. I can see the similarities. Better than the bridge itself was the view...More

It is a small bridge and taking a photo of it is pointless. The point is to stand on the bridge and take photo of the cathedral and river plus other half.

One of a few bridges to cross the river and iconic because of the iron frame structure it is a reminder of the Eiffel Tower. It is a quick stop, and you can take a picture of the Cathedral from the river.

This bridge is centrally located and is worth a visit for the views of the houses along the river and for the photo opportunites.
