Great walk from one end to the other. Can be strenuous in spots. Just take a break. Nice views from the towers. The very rudimentary toilet was an entertaining surprise.

Walking the old city walls of Girona is not to be missed. It is a lovely way to spend an evening walk after dinner or before dinner. The views of the city are lovely. I recommend starting the walk from the garden/park behind the Cathedral....More

You get great views of the city from the walls. Be warned that there's a fair amount of climbing up and down steps as the walls are not continuous. A nice way of getting a different outlook on Girona

Recommended for getting a sense of the topography of Girona. There are long views to the city and countryside beyond, as well as a passage through intimate gardens. Sections can be closed for repair, but still worth experiencing the open parts.

This involves some quite strenuous exercise climbing several flights of stairs, but you are rewarded with stunning views over the old city and surrounding countryside. The route takes you through secluded parks and gardens and we saw groups enjoying an alfresco lunch along the way....More
