The statue in the square commemorates the loss of half the town in the battle with Napolean's French army. Just because there are yellow ribbons on it doesn't mean the statue has any content related to the current Catalonian struggle to separate from Spain.

Came here after dinner to have a drink and sit outside. Lovely and lively area with many options for food. Not many struck me as traditional places, more focused for tourist, but still a nice place of a meal or drink.
