Beautiful garden walk, with great view across the lake. You do have to keep your dogs on the lead which make sense but the rest of the gardens dogs can be off lead.

After you get away from the more crowded areas of the parks and gardens you can generally find a quiet place and this is one of them. Nice to take a wander as part of any longer walk.

Once you've taken out a small bank loan to subsidise the parking charges, these gardens, next to Savill which you have to pay for to get into through a turnstile, are totally free of charge and well worth a visit from March to the autumn.

We walked through the Valley Gardens at the end of April and it was beautiful with Rhododendrons just in bloom. Well worth a visit at any time of year.
