Turo Seu Vella is well worth the visit. Lleida is a very friendly Spanish city with lots of Catalan history. There are plenty of local bars to grab very tasty and inexpensive meals. This a must visit for history lovers.

You must see it. Amazing building, great views, was the old cathedral until the 18th century, and near you will find the catalan king castle.

There's a lot of interesting history on display here, and it was available in English. We took the elevator from town and walked the rest of the way. But one could drive to the parking area just below the cathedral. Small fee for entry.

Awesomely big cathedral that was used as a barrack after the Spanish succession War. But it still retain the old monastery feel. The cloister is absolutely amazing and is apparently one of the largest in Europe. You can go up to the tower which unfortunately...More
