After phoning the museum from the bus terminal at 1pm and being told it was open - upon arrival at 1.30 pm after having walked for 20 minutes to get there was told it was closed until 4pm. Determined to see it, I waited around...More

Interesting experience of the dark world of death an tombs. Cryptic tomb was the most interesting. Very few people and deserted attraction, perhaps a bit far from the old town. Ticket is free if you buy a ticket to Archaeology museum.

Totally fascinating. A short introduction with photographs and video within the museum then outside the amazing exhibitits revealing the paleochristian burial practices from 1st and 2nd centuries and the lay out of a Roman villa with unknown history. A full half day
