If you are interested in how the structure of the capital of the Hispania Citerior was in the Imperial Rome Empire, have a look. It is worth a visit

We went on a Monday, when most of the Roman sites were closed, but the Antiga Audiencia was the one that we did find open. Interesting to get an idea of the scale of the Roman port.

This is a really good model of how the town of Tarragona (or Tarraco) would have looked back in the Roman days. Free entry and worth a look to help you relate to the Roman remains that you'll still see in the old town today.

The model is very detailed and allows you to visualize the ancient town. I learned that it was the Roman capital of the Iberian peninsula, still I was amazed by the size and beauty of the city.
