Arriving early morning, first panoramic vistas are of the azure sea and coastline are only a few minutes walk from the Station.
Scenic vistas on the glorious blue sky morning were delightful. Further on it’s only a short stroll to the outstanding Roman Amphitheatre.

We went up there from El Miracle beach, which by the way is very pleasant (clean, very clear water, busy but not too busy), following an aerial footbridge overlooking the rails. Once arrived, we were able to observe the magnificent view of the sea and enjoy a drink on the shaded terrace of the first bar/ice cream parlor (affordable prices, typical and refreshing drinks). From there you can go down the main street, the spacious, windy and pleasant Rambla nova.

What a spectacular view of the sea! We visited on a slightly rainy day, but still a very nice stroll down La Rambla to the edge of the Mediterranean. Our tour guide said to pat the railing for good luck and that the tall rail is Sunday with the smaller ones representing Monday-Saturday.

Fantastic views from a promenade along a cliff top. No places to sit and only the view to keep you here, so not worth a special visit. However, if you are exploring the city make sure that your route comes here.

Really - if you're in Tarragona, particularly if you come by train, you won't miss this unless you skip going into the city altogether. Tarragona is stunning. There are nice restaurants nearby, too.

The view from this cliff is spectacular. The beach below is inviting and the colour of the water is aqua. It's a great place to sit and enjoy the view, people watch or enjoy your beverage of choice. Lots of restaurants and cafes in the area too

The balcony is right at the end of the La Rambla Nova just behind the statue of Roger de Lauria. The view up there spectacular; one can see the Mediterranean, port area and beach. Below one can see the Tarragona coat of arms. Whe then walked to the left and saw the Roman amphitheater and a small sun dial.
