I am always surprised little seems to be made of the time Picasso spent in A Coruna as a child. The house does give an insight into the family's living conditions during this time. There is a shop and gallery on the ground floor.

We used our hop on hop off inclusive ticket 29E to enter the house. The audio guide was detailed and well produced. It was interesting to imagine Picasso and his family living here, walking and playing in the plaza and making their way through the...More

Helps one imagine Picasso's life as a teenager in A Coruna. Also a 'frozen in time' example of the furniture and fittings of a flat then.

Casa Picasso is a small flat on the 2nd floor. You need to call the ring bell downstairs. Pablo Picasso lived here when he was a child. There are some paintings of his father. Open 10:30-14:00/17:30-20:00 Closed on mondays.

Watching an episode by Michael Portillo he inspired me to visit this little museum. The significance of Picasso's period in Coruña is of great importance. Our guide Lorena was so passionate me knowledgable about the life of Pablo Ruiz Picasso, she brought the home to...More
