If you are in a Coruna, this will probably be the highlight of your visit. We were with a group tour which allowed us about 20 minutes to walk around and take fotos. That was a sufficient time at this spot.

A fairly easy, but long walk from the port which left us wary about climbing the over 300 steps so we viewed from afar.
Visitor tickets are obtained from a kiosk at the bottom of the hill and were advertised as Free on a Monday - money saving tip if you can choose the day for your visit.

This was a beautiful area to walk, great views of cliffs, fishing boats coming in, highly recommend this area, certainly quieter than other areas on the point.

The Torre de Hercules is an amazing site to visit if you are around La Coruña, Spain, this is the oldest light house in operation in the whole world, the finish to builded in century II during the roman Empire, when you get in to the site is amazing the structure, the site itself and I consider that is worthy to have the experience, I really enjoyed!

It's a cool looking statue. There isn't too much else to say. We planned to view as part of our walk. It's nice and worth viewing if nearby.

First - do not use the coastal walk to get close to this. The ticket office is in the car park at the bottom (we saw people at the top wondering where tickets could be purchased).
Second - They only allow 30 persons per half hour so plan to wait or pre-book.
Very impressive structure. Especially when you realise the structure you can see is from 1788 to protect the Roman version inside. The boards you can read on the way up provide quite a bit of historical detail. The views from the top are very good.
This is a fairly easy climb with landings to rest if you need to.

Lovely walk uphill from the car park to the Tower. Substantial views along the way of the promontory and ocean. The portable toilets in the car park were surprisingly clean and pleasant.

How is it possible that buildings, built in the 1950s are crumbling and this lighthouse, built in the first century is not only still standing but still works??

Those Romans knew how to build quality and while they put this lighthouse in a position to help seafarers, they also put it in a beautiful perch! The sights are glorious, the landscapes, the sea... just breathtaking!

Took a taxi from the station as it is quite a way and only 8 euro. The lighthouse is brilliant - 2nd highest in Spain and only 3 euros to enter. Views superb as is the area

Great views, lovely walk around the coastal line too nearby. The walk up is a slight incline so easily accessible.
