If you are into visiting religious monuments then this cathedral is a must to see. It is wonderfully maintained and a site for the pilgrimage "El Camino"

despite the very big towers were in conservation works, this is an amazing place inside and outside. It is a very big cathedral full of history and tradition. It needs a calm visit to enjoy the place.

We attended the christmass mass at the cathedral and it was a day to remember.....the architecture is amazing and the whole atmosphere brings you back to the past....would love to come back...

A beautiful and very interesting Cathedral that is bathed in history. The tomb of St James, whether real or not, makes one stop and appreciate Spains history and particularly that of the Gallician people. Loved Spain.

It was still under construction when we were there three weeks ago and I believe the construction will continue for a couple more years.

Hi there, You can go to the cathedral's website and click on botafumeiro in left column. It lists days they will use it. Bad news is I just did this and saw Friday nights have been discontinued. If that's true, only the holy... More
