Upon entering the cave a photo opportunity awaits - but the frequency of colours changing to music made it difficult to get the perfect shot. If lighting should be used please use natural or white light to show the cave off. It was really unnecessary to have music playing. They hold concerts here-and that is when the coloured lighting and... More

This was included in our pass we had bought for the rock. It is overly developed for tourists with concrete stairs, walkways, light and even a concert hall but it is still worth a visit. The rock formation are very interesting and the lights help accentuate their texture. It only takes about 1/2 hr to tour. It is definitely worth... More

We enjoyed our trip into the cave. They are very pretty and illuminated with different coloured lights. There are a lot of stairs inside the cave so we chose to leave the buggy outside by the entrance. Our toddler enjoyed listening to the music, looking for 'monsters' in all the little corners and splashing in the puddles.

When I see all the positive reviews I think that these folks have never been in a natural, beautiful cave before. There are still many beautiful formations left in this large cave but I'm so appalled at all the colored lights and the piped in mood music. It's set up like for shows, I guess, with lots of concrete levels... More

Fabulist place not to be missed, enjoyed the monkeys the entertainment of our visit, watching the monkey steal someone's sandwich hilarious. The caves were splendid, the colours you can just imagine the sound of a military band playing in there.

We walked up the rock by Mediterranean steps - absolutely stunning and on the way down you get to the st Michael's cave . It's worth to see however the neon effects are ruining the beauty of the cave and the nature is overtaken by this 'touristy' effect . The cave itself is beautiful , the lights should be changed... Well worth a visit - wear good walking shoes to get about inside the cave although the place is well lit without ruining the ambience of the place. It does not take long to walk through so I would suggest you visit this cave on the same trip to see the monkeys

St Michael's cave is amazing we really enjoyed seeing it & think a concert there would be incredible. Walked from the cable car so lots of monkeys to see on the way really enjoyed the whole thing.
