It's a nice path, it's all downhill from north to east but unless you're into different types of canons I wouldn't say it's somewhere you must see.

Our last "attraction" stop on the Rock was the Great Siege tunnels. Our guide initially stayed with the mini bus as there are many exhibits in the tunnels which have excellent displays and information boards. From an engineering point of view, it is amazing that...More

If you are interested in history, Gibraltar is a must see stop, especially if your interest lies in military decisions. Tunnels are interesting from both an engineering and military aspect. Easy to walk around and view various angles from gun ports.

It was a last stop of our taxi trip to the Rock of Gibraltar. We had not enough time to see everything so carefully, but it was nice and interesting.

An unforgettable experience to go inside the tunnels and look out over the rock. There are good guides and information and the staff at the gate were really friendly and informative.

£10 to visit but book a tour and get an all inclusive ticket to the main sites, much easier & cheaper. This attraction is basically a long downward tunnel built to house massive cannon to protect the Rock from invasion. It is not a difficult...More

It was a bit of a hike up from the town, but seeing the tunnels was worth it. The size of the chambers with several cannons in was eye opening, especially given the tools they had at the time.

If your time is limited, for sure, taxi up. That way you are not at the mercy of a tour schedule.
