Quite a strange attraction. Very impressive from the outside and it’s in a great area of the park, with a picturesque fountain, pond and even wee turtles! Then you get inside the palace and there’s little to see. Hmmmm.

A long walk to in a beautiful LARGE park. It's basically an empty space made of glass. Nice pond in front.

We couldn't get inside but it didn't matter because the exterior and setting are really what this place is about. An attractive glass building that i imagine would be an excellent place to hold exhibitions

The Crystal Palace is a neat place to visit if you are in the Retiro Park. Entrance is free and there were no lines to get in. You only need a few minutes to see it all.

what is nice about this site is that to come on and view the palace it is free. We arrived on an overcast morning before we headed over to the Reina Sofia Museum. It was not crowded but inside was very warm (the palace was...More

This was our second visit to the Palacio and interestingly the requirement for shoe covers has been removed (as per our visit in November). The building is probably not used correctly in its current guise as a place for exhibitions because as an orangery it...More

There are a few glass artworks and toilets down stairs here, but nothing else to see apart from the amazing structure of this building. The walk through the park is nice. Free entry. I understand this is used for exhibitions sometimes. There was no wait...More

This palace should be called the GLASS palace. I did not see any crystal. Still worth a visit if you go to the Retiro park. There is a nice pond in front of the palace and you can get some nice pictures. There was a...More

The palace is one of the sites in the park. It's nice but not anything out of the ordinary. The park is awesome so it's still worth visiting.

I was really excited to see this but I got there and was really disappointed. I don't understand why this is an attraction. It's an empty glass structure. It's a trek to find too so after all the walking and following signs to find it,...More

Free to get in and during the summer the Reina Sofia museum typically does free temporary art exhibits inside. To find the bathroom, go inside the building, walk all the way to the back - there are two staircases to go down... More
