This ancient archway is believed to be one of the original entrances to Plaza Mayor. The streets abound with Tabernas, Tapas Bars and bars offering Flamenco shows. The atmosphere is buzzing at night.

Whenever I visit the Plaza Mayor, I always see the Arco de Cuchilleros because I enjoy seeing this architecture. It is perfect in its setting and something to admire, part of the history of Madrid.
