This church was quite a surprise. We did an interesting tour, although it was in Spanish we got the gist of it. Beautiful decor. Well worth a visit

I hurried over to the basilica before it was scheduled to close. To my dismay, you're only allowed to enter if: 1. You pay 5 Euros (I don't have a problem with the cost, and... 2. You are not allowed to roam freely, taking your...More

There is so much to see in this beautiful cathedral - take time to enjoy each room. So much history and such beautiful artwork. Garden was in full bloom and views of the city were great.

Glad we did not miss this gem! Had to pay to get in and Spanish tour is included. We skipped the tour and angered around ourselves. Don’t miss the Goya painting. Neoclassical style basilica which is very old and very impressive.

Not only is this an architectural gem, but the paintings, statues and stained windows, as well as the impressive altar make this a must see in Madrid.

This is a gorgeous, if not breathtaking, church. The dome of the church is very impressive, if not inspiring. The hand made carvings on the wooden doors are also unique.

Hello. I paid 5 euros but that was because I arrived at the time of a guided tour. I did read that it is normally 2 euros to enter without the guide.
