We arrived at the cable car to find it was closed due to the wind (16mph according to our phone app). There was nothing on the website to say it was closed so maybe phone ahead if you’re planning a trip in the autumn/winter.
What a surprise! We had travelled to Madrid several times before and didn’t know about the Teleférico de Madrid (Madrid Funicular). See Madrid from an amazing vantage point in the sky, you can see monumental buildings, highways, parks and gardens at your feet.
For 6 Euros per roundtrip you get to fly through Madrid's air. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the sights like the Royal palace. The complete ride takes about 20 min and is as I believe an interesting experience in Madrid.
