The Zoo Aquarium is a great place to go with your kinds when visiting Madrid. It has a Panda bear and it is really interesting to see how they look after all the animals. Very recommendable.

When you get off the Metro it is sign posted, there is a small walk (5-10 mins) to get to the gate slightly downhill, it is flat once inside. We stayed for about 4 hours

I have seen the best zoo in the Europe. Is very nice and clean with the most beautiful animals and very large supraface.

The zoo hosts a vast variety of species, including some of the very endangered ones (e.g. Indian rhinos, panda, orangutan). The enclosures are generally well designed and spacious (generally: the tigers’ and lions’ are not the best ones, in my opinion, neither for the animals nor for the viewers). From an educational point of view, the enclosures could provide more... More

Book online for the best prices, and off peak be aware that not many food options are open. We had an amazing day. Pandas were beautiful, dolphin show was phenomenal and the entire place was clean and well laid out. Talks are in Spanish but you don't need to understand everything to appreciate the shows. Easy to reach via the... More

I do not like the idea of captive animals in Zoo's - however - if we dont support those already IN captivity - they will be poorly cared for. This particular Zoo is a credit to the keepers & management. The enclosure were spacious, appropriate and the animals obviously well cared for both physically and emotionally. There was much made... The ZOO is must see. A lot of playgrounds for children. It was clean not so crowded. So must visit in the week, not weekends. Buy ticket and food from web, we got 15€ cheaper.

The zoo is easy to access with Metro nr 5 from Gran Via and then a walk of 10 min from Metro station to the entré. Buy tickets online or if you have 3 or more kids like us you get a reduced fee since you have "family numerosa", and that we like 😊 the dolphine show was ok and... More

We spent a day at the zoo and it is large and well laid out for the public, however we felt sorry for some of the animals who seemed stressed out in what we felt were small enclosures. There were a pair of Lions just pacing up and down and a number of the other animals had worn out strips... More
