One of the widest avenues I've ever seen, anchored by majestic buildings, fountains, the Prado Museum, quite a sight. Getting good pictures is tough, traffic, light poles, garbage cans conspire against that perfect shot.

It’s a nice well maintained area to walk through on your way to Prado museum or on your way out. Visually nice with trees and benches to sit and admire but being a short distance from Retiro Park why would you bother to spend any...More

After seeing the Prado Museum, my wife and I took a walk along the Paseo del Prado, where one can relax and enjoy the views. There is a statue of Velazquez that is very good. We also saw the good souvenir store across the street...More

Always beautiful. One of the great boulevards of Europe. Madrid is an elegant city and the Paseo del Prado is one of its focal points.

weekdays, the Prado Museum opens its doors for free
after-work hours, drawing a diverse and excited queue
