As with many churches I have seen in Madrid and elsewhere, this church doesn't look much from the outside but inside it's one redeeming feature is the magnificent alter which is well worth going along to see.

The Church of Jesus de Medinaceli has a statue of Christ that is supposed to be miraculous. The statue was created in the 17th century. Many pray to it during the Holy Week.

The image of Our Father Jesus Nazarene was created in the School of Sevilla, in the workshop of Juan de Mesa. It was made in the first half of th 17th century. The people of Madrid venerate this image because they attribute miracles to it.
