We came here twice. Once in the early afternoon (quiet) and once at night (busy). There are only 4 tables (and a bar) upstairs with some more seating downstairs. Once you've had a drink here ('Corpse Reviver' is recommended!) make sure you have some tapas...More

Thanks for your words, Williwsinoz We agree with you, it's a great idea having a cocktail or two with us, then some tortilla at pez Tortilla.

Came here two days in a row! This is an old fashioned bar and the bartenders have extensive knowledge about making cocktails. Almost all of the cocktails are €9 each. No food here but grab a cocktail and watch the people walk by!

A whole list of standard cocktails with lower shelf liquor for 9 euros. For a bump up to 12 euros, you can get a decent drink. It's nothing special. I don't see why this place has such a high rating in Madrid. There is next...More

So sorry to read that, Johnny. We cannot please everyone and you probably have your reasons to dislike the brands we use. Just to explain to everybody: gins like Xoriguer or MG, vodka Finlandia, rums like Havana Club or Appleton, whiskeys like Buffalo Trace, Makers...More

If you like well and thoughtfully prepared cocktails in a lovely non pretentious setting, this is the place for you. The drink menu was wonderfully descriptive and introduced us to new cocktails and even ingredients (went back home and bought our own bottle of dram).
