This is a really well presented museum and Roman theatre. The Roman artefacts from c.1st C BC are fascinating as is the information on the Carthaginians and Romans. A must see when visiting Cartagena.

A visit full of history, as in Cartagena you can find data and visual information for several centuries of colonization.

We did the tour, and then went on our own to explore other sights. It is OK, but not fantastic. I would take that time back to enjoy some other sites

This Roman amphitheatre has been well restored and is a great example of the architecture of the time. Situated right in the heart of the Old Town and tourist area it's like stepping through a wall in to another Millenia. Superb

We really enjoyed this visit. You walk in off the street and the design lets you experience moving thru and seeing the artifacts. Escalators take you up and then you walk out. They continue to build on the experience so do check back

A beautiful theatre. It has stunning views from every angle. Go to the top for the best view of the city. So well restored

Some very steep steps with no hand rails can be a bit dodgy for some people. A great site quieter than Rome!

Hello Andreas, It is very easy, just 5 minutes from the port to the entrance of the Roman Theatre Museum at the City Hall Square. The fee is 6€ for adults and 5€ for children. Check the conditions in our website. Thank you.
