Was here, on my own, in June, but promised to return with my partner to show her the stunning views from the Castle Tower. Bought a combined ticket at the Ascensor Panoramica and walked the final shortish distance to the very top. The views were...More

This was part of the 4 places we paid to visit from the Roman historical places. You could get on top by Taxi, walking or by a lift. We took the elevator and walked around the area on top. Not much to see in terms...More

Although the artefacts are not originals and just replicas they still give a good feel and idea of the history of the castle. Enjoyed the visit.

Brilliant views across this most historic of cities. And the castle museum is very interesting too. Must visit.

Another piece of the history of Cartagena, well worth the trip and climb to the top from the impressive new lift from street level.

Come up on the panoramic lift. The gardens around the castle give a good view of the surrounding area. The castle itself is not that interesting apart from the film at the start about the history of Cartagena

I got there too late to catch the castle open, but i spent a lot of time admiring the scenery from the terrace.

The Castle is about 10 minutes walk and then there is a lift from the street up to a stage where there still is a bit of uphill walking to the very top. My Wife has COPD and we walked into the Town centre on fairly flat... More
