The night we were enjoying the walls there were dancers doing some beautiful performances which were done by the public. Loved the fun atmosphere, the history and the view over the walls. Truly stunning area to walk.

We walked around these walls and they are huge when seen from the bottom. They are quite intact and give a good picture of life back then. There are some great views as well.

They keep some animals inside the walls, and one can walk the periphery and see how the walls were constructed.

Do not miss a tour of the city walls as you walk above and on them and below as an entrance to the city! Breathtaking in their size and sheer feat of historic engineering.

What a huge fortress! As you walk within the walls, there are some of the original buildings, as well as lovely gardens with creative human-sized bird nests around the trees for kids to play in. Then, as you walk on top of these wide walls,...More

Hi, I would recommend that you spend a couple of days driving around La Rioja and don't miss the many wineyards around that area, especially The Marques de Riscal in Elciego. Also, I would definitively recommend that from... More
