The scenery is beautiful and the hikes are exhilarating. A must do if you will be in the area and like hiking. Try out the sheep cheese on the mountaintop.

Allow some time even if only passing through the park. Especially beautiful when fog rolls in. Hiking was good. Not many people this time of year (October). There is no entry charge.

I don't think any bus passes through or stops at Urbasa. You can reach from Sakana (North), and the towns there (Altsasu, Etxarri-Aranatz) are connected by bus and train with Iruñea/Pamplona. From the South you should first... More

Not really, you can't, but you can go to "El Nacedero del Urederra" behind the mountain what is a beautiful river spring where you may swim.

I am afraid not, it is far away from any public transport. Either you hire a car or arrange a taxi. There are hotels and ecolodges, plus camping that we did not use, just drove to sleep on the other side of the mountains... More
