Way up high

Drove most of the way up although plenty of people were walking. Difficult to find the route up by car but once there the views were spectacular.

Having visited Benidorm a few times now we were looking for something a bit different to do so decided to walk up to the cross. We stayed 17-20th Feb so the weather was sunny but not too hot so ideal for a walk. The walk up took us just over a hour, it would have been a bit quicker but... More

Been a couple of times now, worked out which way to go and enjoyed the exercise, fresh air and views. Take a bottle of water and take your time if you are able. Stopped at Merrita's bar on the way down last time. Great way to spend time.

To get here there is a 6 minute windy road drive to where you park your car. From where you park you can walk to La Cruz (the cross) on uneven ground and sometime loose gravel and slippery. Once on top, there is actually nothing to see or do except an aerial view of Benidorm. It will take you at... More

Brilliant views of Benidorm from up here - little train takes you up - well worth the trip. Good photo opportunity.

Took a steep walk up this mountain to reach the cross at the top. It's a bit of a challenge, but defiantly do able, this is coming from someone who does little exercise and eats poorly. I would defiantly recommend taking some water on this hike. Once at the top, you have stunning views overlooking Benidorm and a great photo... More

Absolutely amazing views, and you can drive up if the walk is just a little bit daunting. May be best not to attempt it on a windy day, but very well worth the visit.

My wife and I always walk up to the cross when we visit Benidorm. Several years ago we would meet the odd walker but now it's getting more popular. Very nice views of Benidorm and surrounding area from the top.
