The most attractive building at the port which must serve an important function for exports and imports. There is not much that looks grand at the working port, but this big structure did impress me. I stopped and admired it as I was headed back to the center.

History at the Valencia Harbour

Beautiful building which was the checking point and warehouse at the harbour decades ago. Restored and today shows its beauty of 1910 when it was built. It is the contrast between the tradition and the avantgarde (Veles e vents building and it)

Beautiful historic building

It is 100 years old and is in the Neoclassical style with some French elements (slate roof, etc.) In the beginning, it was built as a residence for Valencia nobility and today it is the headquarters of the Port Authority. At the top is a weather vane with a sailboat on top (how appropriate).

A real gem

It is wonderful to see this modernista gem has survived and when touring the port it is a fine centrepiece. This is an architecturally intriguing area for a morning walk or cycle.

The clock building presides over the Port of Valencia, a beautiful building. Its tower with a clock, the reason for carrying the name, was formerly a center of port activity.
