Well labelled plants, well grown. Probably of more interest to a plants person than a general garden visitor. Toilets on site I didn't see a cafe but lots of people were eating packed lunches. Very peaceful.

The (very old) botanical gardens of Valencia's university are truly worth a visit. We were there in April and it was already a quiet haven, but in the hot season, this must be like an oasis. Great trees overhead. Although explanations are not very developed, one gets a fair impression of the richness of the vegetation. Many species from South... More

It was a bit hard to find but when you found it, it is a quit place in a busy town. It is a nice garden to see. A lot of different plants and trees. Although it is early in the year you can see flowers and nice trees and plants.

Easy to reach on the metro or by foot. 2.5 euros general entry from 10am. If you like cats and cacti it is a must visit! Around an hour is sufficient for the visit.

Stroll around and admire all the trees and plants and green houses. Sit down, eat your lunch on one of the benches, watch the birds and take advantage of the good map you get when paying your entrance. Reduced price for jubilados.

Its a nice garden to chill out. I went there because of the cats.. bt apparently most of them were out there somewhere and couldnt find most of them and the ones i found were either sleeping nor in the bushes. Apart of the cats i love the garden!

I had imagined a hotel next to some lovely botanical gardens. If they were there I never saw them. The street was a bit run down. The hotel itself was ok but the rooms are smaller than they appear in the photographs. It was fine for a couple of nights but I would not have wanted to stay longer.

It may not appear as a top touristic attraction, as it's small and somehow hidden from the trodden path. However, it's really charming and has a quite unique feeling to it. Perfect to escape with a book and enjoy the lush of the quasi-tropical vegetation.

Big and beautiful quiet garden in the middle of the city. For only 2.5€ you can enjoy a nice walk surrounded by 4,500 species which includes monumental trees and historical buildings.

This is one of the nicer botanical gardens I have seen. Very beautifully laid out. Beautiful plants. Incredible trees and plants. A must see.
