Really enjoyed a visit here. Doesn't take long to get around but very interesting with English information at most exhibits. Nice to learn a little bit about the history of the area, and beautifully done.

Great museum to kill an hour of your free time :) Bigger part of the museum is actually set in 100 years Roman history whilst the rest is newer aged.

We started our day with visiting this place and it was good. The old ruins of the former city in its different ages are impressive. The exhibit methods manage to accentuate this feeling. You may see thermal baths, temples, political buildings, chapels , wells and different findings. The entrance fee is quite small.

If we had not done the Free Walking Tour, we would not have known about this museum. It's fascinating that you look down through a pool of water on the outside, you see a road built by the Romans. Then go inside and see a lot more. Most, but not all, of the educational signage is in Spanish, Valencian and... More

We stumbled upon the center while strolling around the cathedral. The waterpond with see through window to the archelogical site drew us in. Inside was a big surprise. Walking around century old finds and remains of archeological diggings felt very special. Great information films with animations to show you what was once there. Highly reccomended if you are into history.

This was a nice surprise to see Roman ruins beneath the city of Valencia. You walk along boardwalks and over plexiglass walkways giving a great view of everything.

We hadn't found this in our guide book and just happened to be passing by and wandered in. If you love history and archeological sites then this is for you. Sadly some of the films are only offered in Spanish but others offer English links and many information boards have an English translation. Fascinating insight into the origins of Valencia.

This is one of the best museums we have been to. It is not always easy to find your way around the old town so get directions (or a better street map than our hotel gave us). The entrance fee was Euro 1 and we were amazed at the excavation of the Roman city. The explanations are in English with... More

Cost about 2 euros per adults cheaper for OAP. Party of 4 cost €6. Alot of the old Roman settlement to see. Educational with some English signs. Very worth going to.

There are lots of infos inside about the ancient times of Valencia and the whole museum is structured in a unique way, with a pool on top of it...
