Even when you are not supposed to travel by train, enter the station and first walk in the room on your right hand. Marvelous ceramics paintings on the wall. Also the station itself with its old ticket offices is very nice.

This post office is worth the visit to look at the architecture not just to post a letter. A very distinct interesting design and we enjoyed walking round the building taking a look.

Go in the day time so you can see the magnificent huge stained glass ceiling. Stunning. Go again at night to see the lights on the exterior. Very impressive.

It is unlikely that any tourist in Valencia will not walk past this beautiful building as it is on the main square. Beautiful architecture on the outside and a stunning interior. Don't walk past, pop in. It won't take long and you won't regret it.

If you find yourself in the square it's well worth crossing over to look inside the Correos to see the decor. Sadly when we visited we were unable to glimpse the postboxes outside as they were covered by scaffolding and barriers as ithe outside is being refurbished.

The ceiling of the Central Post Office is a hidden marvel. Steel and stained glass create an amazing vault. Central hours of the day are recommended for they render the best light.

This building was covered with netting but still couldn't hide its eclectic style and impressive looking two story façade w/ a main entrance flanked by double Ionic columns and arch topped w/ allegorical figures & a clock. It was built between 1915-22 and is situated right across the stunning City Hall building in the southern end of the historical center... More

Although covered in netting for refurbishment it was still worth a visit inside, extraordinairy building for a post office.

and not more than that. If you live in an old city you can see this at home. If you are a lover of old buildings and architecture than feel free to visit this building.

When we got there the exterior was having work done and wrapped in scaffolding, but inside is lovely and when the work is done the outside will once again reveal its true beauty. But do make sure you nip up the side and see the very unusual letter boxes.
