these gardens must have been glorious in their hey hay but unfortunately there are areas which need a lot of work Still a great place for a stroll with some interesting botanical specimens

We visited after a strong rain throughout the entire previous night. There was high moisture and as we entered there was a strong pleasant smell from the plants and trees. The gardens are clean and it's very pleasant to walk inside, although you do not fully disconnect from the city since you hear the cars and see the appartment blocks.

Good to visit to just have a wander around, mainly trees, rather than flowers. Jardine de Monforte is a better, more interesting garden to visit

Beautiful park near the old town, past the old river. Perfect garden to search for a restful break in the shade of its lush green trees @ gargio76

Once again the overall structure of the gardens is good. You can find some creative hedging areas, but overall the gardens are devoid of colour, and some areas, water features in need of maintenance, love. Ie not working, breaking up. Get yourself off to the Botanical Gardens instead!

A very well kept garden with children play facilities, perfect for a sunny day. The park is filled with huge long trees that make for good picnic area.

This gardens are big and lovely. We accessed them from a round about off the city walls gardens which are very pleasant themselves. There is a little zoo for the kids to look at, a museum and next a lovely house serving food and drinks. We lunched under the shade of a tree, feeding bits to a cheeky black cat... More

These gardens are a real delight! Hard to believe you are in a bustling city as while you are walking in them everything is so tranquil - a wonderful way to spend an hour or 2 after visiting the busy city. There are so many different areas - children's play parks, cafes, an aviary, a duck pond, fountains, statues, many... More

Strolled through this beautiful park before breakfast, some interesting ruins of a former palace in the grounds, well worth a visit if you are ever in the city of Valencia.
