Best place in Spain to go to do the fresh market product experience.

Beautiful Market with plentiful choices for great fresh veggies, fish, seafood and meats. A great enjoyable place to shop in a historical beautiful building. A must do in Valencia

This mercado is splendid. Besides the offerings for locals that cook , visitors may enjoy the experience of looking at the splendid variety of spices, seafood, and meats, pork, horse, ox, lamb, aged beef, tongue, etc, etc. Be sure to taste A good pincho , sepia, squid etc. Enjoy the ambiance and its cleanliness.

Valencia is a beautiful city with lots to see and do. A visit wouldn't be complete though without a trip to see this market. The building itself is lovely and when you enter you are hit with the smells and the colour and variety of products on offer. Fruit and vegetables are excellent and very good value for money! We... If you like colourful food excellently displayed in cathedral-like surroundings, then make this journey. Frustrating though if you aren't able to cook up a feast afterwards.....

It's a very beautiful market, with many people and a great diversity of food. In many shops you can buy fruits, cheese and so on and eat in move.

Modern with a few reasonable cafes. Although it wasn't open, the Gin Bar downstairs looked good. A short walk from the Bullring.

Beautiful modernist art deco building, excellent produce, friendly atmosphere, for your weekly shop or just to browse as a tourist, how food shopping should be. Try and get there Saturday mornings when it's particularly buzzing!

The building is old and very interesting architecture. Worth seeing it. Inside there are a lot of stalls with different food/seafood, meet, everything! The square around the building is full of small restaurants for tapas or other snacks.
