It was next to the hotel so with an extra half an hour you can see everything and take some pictures. You climb up the side stairs and you have views of the old town and on the other side of the current city.

We viewed this tower from the outside only although you can climb up to get a better view of the city. It is crumbling badly due to its age. This is one of only two towers left in the city, the other being the Serranos Towers.

One of only two remaining old city gates. On the side facing out from the city you can see the damage that the gate has survived. Visiting costs 2 euro or is free on Sundays.

On our vacation in Valencia we took the Hop on Hop off bus which passed this old City tower. From the bus it looked very interesting and we decided to visit. On arrival it was not so special and also the part of Valencia right behind the tower was not really special. If you need to prioritise, this does not... More

My hubby was very excited as it reminded him of El Cid. He said he could almost imagine riding out the gates on a horse! Around 150 steps but broken up with lots of stops for views, which are nice.

One can walk up to these towers (2 Eur) and have nice views of downtown of Valencia. It is worth to come here and enjoy the views.

Yes, have a look at this old western entrance tower and go a few steps further west along Quart to visit the University Botanical Garden, which is a must. Stroll around the small alleys, have a drink, a bite and enjoy.

The gateway/tower is an impressive building in itself but climbing to the top means you have a really good 360 degree view across Valencia- recommended

Torres de Quart are less majestic than Torres de Serrano beacause city streets and modern building are very close to them, so the torres get a little opressed; anyway the really worth a one hour visit
