The Cloister is located just off the cathedral. The cost is very reasonable. If you enjoy history and art then this would a good place to visit.

Attached to the cathedral complex this small cloister area has an admission fee of only 3 euro which is great value for money. There are ancient mosaics and murals to be seen inside and the whole cloister is a place of peace and tranquility. There are notes explaining what can be found in the cloisters and they are presented in... More

Nicely done space with gorgeous items on display with English as well as Italian captions. Not too crowded when we were there. Just a few minutes is all it takes.

The cloister is only one part of the monumental complex. The "Museo Diocesano of Amalfi" says the components are: (1) The Cloister of Paradise (13th century) (2 & 3) The Basilica of the Crucifix and the Museum (4) The Crypt (containing the relics of St. Andrew) (5) The Cathedral of St. Andrew The cloister is a "peristyle" meaning it is... Adjacent to the St Andrew Cathedral. There's a charge of 3 euro to enter, but it is well spent as you can admire the beautiful old Medieval frescoes on the walls of the old chapel/burial place. The courtyard is really beautiful with the tall palm trees in the middle.

An ancient cloister with Eastern influences, interesting medieval religious frescoes and some classical sarcophagi. Don't miss if you are visiting the Duomo.

We came across this beautiful spot in the morning while exploring. It is a lovely spot to stop and enjoy the quiet. Also, quite a lovely place for photographers.

After Climbing the steps of the duomo in Amalfi take a left turn and follow the signs...a small entrance fee gains you admission to the cloister, the museum, the crypt, and finally exit through the cathedral -surprisingly - no gift shop.

The Chiostro del Paradiso is a room on the side of the cathedral that allows access when the cathedral is closed . Some nice antiquities on show .
