We thouroghly enjoyed our visit to this castle. Be prepared to climb numerous stairs. It is amazing how such immense structures were built hundreds of years ago.

Notwithstanding the fact that the ruins of the Castello are absolutely worth visiting, especially if you enjoy that kind of thing, the view of Salerno and the coast from above is absolutely stunning. Aim for Dusk to be there, wow!
