Nice long and ornate government building. Unfortunately the building site in front of it takes a lot away from it but no doubt it will be great when finished.

Palazzo San Giacomo as the Town Hall was and is known was instigated by old Ferdinand I to house the offices of government and he selected the Piazza Municipio as the site and demolished old buildings and incorporated others such as the Church of San Giacomo into the current building. It may have caused a stir at the time but he was the King. It has a nice view of the Fountain of Neptune sitting in the square, moved there because of the Metro underground works that have been going on for years. Interesting building and great location and even better when the square resumes its normal size once the works are completed, if ever.

Located on a pretty large square, especially by Naples standards, this building is home of the city government.
Nice architecture, fitting to the purpose.

This building dates to 1825 and was constructed on the orders of King Ferdinand I of Bourbon who wished to consolidate all ministries in one building, as a result the building is of impressive dimensions. I would not consider it to be as architecturally ornate as other buildings but it does have an impressive façade with the ground and three upper floors. The windows on the 1st and 2nd floors have 'standing' balconies with a triangular tympanum over each window. It houses the mayoral office and the offices of the Municipality of Naples.

Neoclassical style building inside the square of the same name and which is the seat of the municipal administration. However, it did not strike me much considering how much around present.
