The Centro Storico feels like it should have so much to offer. However the local government has badly neglected the area, and it feels very run down. The streets are very narrow, and badly lit. Cars and mopeds race up and down the streets at...More

While in Naples, you won't miss the Centro Storico as this is in the center of Naples. Beautiful structure.

It should rival and be above most European cities, but... the amount of garbage in the streets AND grafitti all over the place just creates an atmosphere of a dump, the basic definition of ghetto.

Very easy to get lost if you wander off the beaten track, make sure you have a map to get you out again! Although still great fun finding new delights to the eye around every corner

Walking round the historical centre of Naples is a great experience - with and everyday life carrying on among majestic buildings - tall, narrow streets, garlanded with washing lines, opening out in to splendid squares!

This place is beautiful, but there is a lot of garbage/trash blowing around everywhere and it gets collected around the building. It would be a lot better if they took care of the place around here.
