Spend a little time learning about Bartolo Longo before you visit this amazing Basilica. When you find out more about the man (Bartolo) the church becomes an even more amazing place of grace.

Enjoyable place to sit and contemplate. It is supposed to have miracle powers. A very nice garden area.

Very rich and ornate Napolitano baroque example, beautiful both from inside and outside! The exterior is worthwhile to see both during daylight and at night when it's illuminated.

An imposing sanctuary from outside with an interesting tower detached from the main building. Inside the golden organ and the WOW frescos on the ceiling of the dome are quite a sight.

Beautiful church that will amaze you. If you fancy the styles of gorgeous decoration and sumptuous coloration that followed the Renaissance, this Neapolitan Baroque church will be a favorite. The entire interior is exquisite. You can get a sense by pictures. But it has to...More

You can take the Circumvesuviana to Pompei Scavi and then either walk 20 minutes into town or you take a taxi from the Circumvesuviana into Pompei town. I think the fare is about 10 Euro but check with the driver before... More

Suggestion: contact the church directly? The info is on their web site. I would not hesitate to write in English - many people in the area are very fluent.
